Structural characterization
- Identity confirmation by LC-MS/MS accurate-mass and fragmentation data
- Orthogonal confirmation by FTIR and, through qualified partners, NMR

Purity and impurity profiling

Reference standard qualification
We qualify in-house reference standards with a full characterization package, assign purity with mass balance, and maintain them under controlled storage with periodic requalification. Standards are available to clients with a certificate that documents the qualification data.
Specification development
For each material we help define a release specification that covers identity, assay, impurity limits, residual solvents, elemental impurities, water content, and microbial quality, with acceptance criteria justified by data.
Stability and handling
Stability studies establish retest periods and storage conditions. Handling guidance, safety data summaries, and packaging recommendations are provided with every characterized material.
Compliance posture
The regulatory status of semi-synthetic alkaloids varies by compound, jurisdiction, and intended use, and it changes. We assess every project against current federal and state requirements before work begins, decline work that cannot be performed lawfully, and maintain the documentation needed to demonstrate compliance.
