Analytical Testing
Every result we release is generated on validated methods, on qualified instruments, by analysts who understand botanical matrices. Our analytical laboratory supports raw material qualification, in-process control, finished-extract release, and stability programs for botanical extracts and alkaloid-rich materials.
What we measure
Identity and potency. Chromatographic confirmation of identity and quantitation of target alkaloids and marker compounds by HPLC-UV/DAD and LC-MS/MS against certified or in-house qualified reference standards.
Purity and impurity profile. Related-substance and degradant profiling, isomer resolution, and residual solvent screening by headspace GC. Purity is reported with the method, the reference standard, and the uncertainty behind the number.
Contaminants. Heavy metals by ICP-MS (As, Cd, Pb, Hg), microbial limits and specified organisms, mycotoxins, and multi-residue pesticide panels.
Physical and material properties. Loss on drying and Karl Fischer moisture, particle size distribution, bulk density, pH, and solubility characterization to support formulation and process work.
Instrumentation and platforms
- HPLC with UV/DAD detection
- LC-MS/MS for trace-level quantitation and structural confirmation
- Headspace GC for residual solvents
How results are reported
Each sample receives a Certificate of Analysis that lists the method used, the acceptance criteria applied, the reference standard, and the analyst and reviewer. Full data packages, including chromatograms, calibration data, and system suitability results, are available on request. Chain-of-custody documentation follows every sample from receipt through disposal.
Batch release and stability
We run release panels against client or compendial specifications and manage ICH-style stability programs at controlled long-term and accelerated conditions, with pull-point scheduling and trend reporting.
Who this is for
Ingredient manufacturers, brand owners, contract manufacturers, and research groups that need defensible data on botanical extracts and alkaloid materials, whether for release, qualification of a new supplier, or investigation of an out-of-specification result.
